The fair, which took place in the Retiro Park during the first two weeks in June, was launched by HRH Princess Elena, who talked with Macmillan staff at the stand and received some of our books as a gift for her two children.

Margaret Halton is to join Pan Macmillan as Rights Director for its adult publishing division. Margaret brings to the company an enormous
breadth and depth of publishing experience. She joined ICM in 2000 as Foreign Rights Director in the New York office, and then relocated
to London to co-run the newly formed London office with Kate Jones from 2003 until the merger with Curtis Brown. Before that, she was
Rights Director at Fourth Estate and she previously held posts at Granta, Faber and Harper Collins.
